Proof and our path Forward

Dear backers,

We hope you are all doing well. We've made significant progress over the past few weeks, so it's time for a new update.

In the last update, we explained the switch to the new harness model. This decision was essential for the quality and fit of the final product. We have since received and tested the latest sample of this model.

New Sample Test Results

The test results are very positive and give us confidence for the next steps. Two important improvements have now been validated:

• Fit and Tilting Mechanism Anchor: The adjustment to the anchor point of the tilting mechanism functions as intended, positioning it securely between the shoulder blades. This gives the mechanism sufficient space and provides a noticeable improvement in comfort.
• Inside of the Bag: A dedicated internal sleeve has been added where foam for the required buoyancy can be placed. This feature ensures that even in the unlikely event of a puncture, Fibby's core buoyancy function is not compromised.

External Feedback

In addition to our own tests, we recently had Fibby tested by a reporter from a local radio station (Omroep West). His feedback was very positive; he praised the support and the feeling of security it provides in the water. This is valuable, independent feedback for us that confirms the core functionality is sound. We’re sharing a photo below.

Our next Step: Accelerating Production

Now that the design has been validated, our focus is entirely on the production process. In our last update, we mentioned we expected the new sample soon; however, it only arrived last week. Like you, we want to deliver Fibby as quickly as possible, but our priority is to do so perfectly and without compromise. To accelerate this, we are organizing a visit to the factory. By engaging directly with the manufacturer, we can finalize the last details and speed up the process towards mass production and certification.

Regarding the Timeline

We understand there are many questions about the delivery date. We can only provide a reliable, updated timeline after the factory visit, once all production variables are clear. We will share this information as soon as it becomes available.
